Adobe Animate Core Skills: Level 2 Course Outline

*** Platform Note: This class for Mac or PC Users ***
Adobe software is virtually the same on the Mac and PC platforms. When taking this class from one of our locations, it will be taught using PC hardware with Windows software. Minor Mac keyboard and interface differences will be highlighted by the instructor. When taking this course from home or office, students can use either PC or Mac hardware to attach to the hosted Windows-based Adobe software.

Overview
This class includes a thorough review of the Animate interface including how to use tools and panels, and how to customize and save workspaces. You will also gain an understanding of authoring and output file types.

After completing this course you will know how to use the Library Panel and the Timeline, how to edit properties, preview movies, modify animated content, and set up properties for the stage. You will learn how to create shapes and text for animation, create symbols and instances, and learn to animate size, position, color, effects, transparency and filters.

You will learn the differences between frame-by-frame animation, motion paths and motion tweens, as well as how to set easing, and how to animate camera motion. The class also includes an introduction to the Motion Editor and editing property curves.

Finally, you learn about publishing animations for various outputs, including HTML5 and Flash Player.

*** Version Note ***
Our Creative Cloud classes upgrade to the latest CC version as soon as new training materials are released from Adobe. Typically new content is available within 2 to 4 months of a software release.
